My roots as an artist began in the countryside between Dorset and Somerset — where light, landscape and people shaped my way of seeing. Watercolour very quickly became my primary language — for its fragility, honesty and its ability to hold feeling.


I now specialise in original commissioned portraits that reflect true presence — capturing nuance, memory and the essence of the individual.
